Where to hunt for Easter eggs in Toronto & GTA
Posted on January 29, 2020
If you're like plenty of other people, you're looking for quality Easter events in Toronto & GTA. High on everyone's list of to-dos are Easter egg hunts, because what kid doesn't like to scramble for those little plastic things filled with candy, toys, or maybe something more?
This list from North York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will help enrich your Easter in Toronto & GTA, helping to extract as much joy out of the event.
Brooks Farm Easter Fest Egg Hunt
For a whole Easter experience, head to BrooksFarm, where they'll also be celebrating the Maple Sugar Festival, making for twice the fun. That means you pay admission for both festivals, but you can make an entire day of it.
Of course, included in the cost is an Easter egg hunt. It's recommended for children ages 1 to 6 and takes place in a designated area of the farm. Instead of the treats being in the eggs, children will turn in the eggs at the end of the hunt, then treats will be distributed accordingly.
This even is taking place on multiple days, including March 30 and 31, plus April 1 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. For details on what time the egg hunt will happen, contact Brooks Farm.
Pingle's Easter Egg Hunt
Another Easter egg hunt is being held by Pingle'sFarm Market. It's recommended for children ages 1 to 6 as well.
After you arrive and pay admissions, your child will decorate an Easter egg basket in the farm greenhouse, making for a customized experience. If the weather is decent, families will ride in the tractor wagon out to see the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs.
Once the egg hunt is done, children will turn in the plastic eggs they found in exchange for a treat in the greenhouse. They also get to plant a seed they take home for their own garden.
Older children, from 7 to 12, can participate in the scavenger hunt. They make a craft instead of decorating a basket. Instead of hunting eggs, they follow clues hidden around the farm, checking into different stations. Once finished, they submit their answers and receive a special treat.
Pingle's will be holding this event from March 30 to April 1 starting at 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Blue Mountain Village
If you want an Easter egg hunt that runs a little later, Blue Mountain Village will be holding its own from March 30 to April 2. There will be an Easter scavenger hunt from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm each of those days. Also, this event is free to participate in and there are plenty of fun things for adults and kids in the village.
The aquatic center will be holding an Easter egg dive Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11:00 am. It's a unique way to "hunt" for eggs, since they'll be at the bottom of the pool. While you're there, enjoy the Easter brunch special at the café, but you need to call ahead for reservations.
