Whats The Best Dodge Journey Trim Level For Me 2017

We like all the cars and trucks we offer at Caledon Chrysler, however, we absolutely love the 2017 Dodge Journey. It's everything you could want in an SUV: durable, powerful, roomy, and affordable. It seats up to seven passengers and features a Best-In-Class storage system that has to be seen to be believed. One of the best parts of the 2017 Dodge Journey is its versatility. Because we all have different needs and lifestyles, the experts at Dodge created the SUV in six unique trim levels as well as AWD and FWD. While we can't go over all the trims and their benefits, we thought we'd take a quick look at the basics of the 2017 Dodge Journey and a few of the trims that might just meet your exact needs.

The Basics

When you look under the hood of the 2017 Dodge Journey, you will find a standard 2.4-liter DOHC 16V I-4 engine with Dual VVT that produces 173 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 166 lb.-ft. of torque. If you need even more power, you can step up to the available 3.6-liter DOHC Pentastar VVT V-6 engine that generates 283 horsepower at 6,350 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm. This powerful SUV comes with either an Autostick four-speed transmission or a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, which gives drivers up to 12.7 L/100 km city and 9.2 L/100 km highway fuel efficiency. All trim levels feature a dual-phase steel body with specifically placed crumple zones and a seven-airbag system that includes multistage front airbags, supplemental side-curtain airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, and a driver's knee airbag.

Trims You Might Like

While there are six to choose from, we thought we'd focus on three that sum up what you can expect from the 2017 Dodge Journey.

As you step up to the GT trim level, you start to get some of features that are either optional or unavailable on lower levels.
