$25,000 In Donations To Support Local Charities

TORONTO, ON (March 2022)- CarHub North York and Caledon Chrysler announced the winners of their annual charity initiative by donating $10,000 to Distress Centres of Greater Toronto, $7,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel, as well as $4,000 to Evergreen Hospice Thornhill and $1,000 each to the remaining participants (Heart & Stroke, The Salvation Army, North York Harvest Food Bank and Participation House, Markham).

Representatives from the three recipients who received the largest donations visited the Toronto dealership where they received their donation cheques. They had the following to say about accepting their charitable donation and how the funding will help support the community:

“The pandemic has caused a persistent increase in the quantity and severity of distress calls. Through the generous contribution from CarHub, we will be able to support many new callers who are experiencing isolation, loneliness and distress” - Robert Ridge, Executive Director of Distress Centres of Greater Toronto

We are so appreciative to be one of their chosen charities to participate in their Holiday Charity Contest for 8 years now. The top three recipients are decided as a part of CarHub North York and Caledon Chrysler's Holiday Charity Initiative, where they held an open online poll, asking for customers and local community members to vote on which charities they should donate a total of $25,000 to.

Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients! It is clear the donated funds will be used to do amazing things for the community. CarHub has been inspired by the passion of their community that was shown through voting and advocating for the causes that are closest to their hearts.
