2019 Jeep Compass Trim Levels Explained

Where most manufacturers offer one of the deepest ranges of crossover and SUV models in each segment, Jeep has two that compete for shoppers in the subcompact class and the larger of the pair is offering even more in 2019 Jeep Compass.

Redesigned just two short years ago, the Jeep Compass continues to offer best-in-class 4x4 off-road capability, an advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, premium and authentic Jeep design, superior on-road driving dynamics, open-air freedom, and a host of innovative safety and advanced technology offerings. Like last year, the 2019 Jeep Compass comes in four trim levels, including the North, Limited, Sport and Trailhawk models with a few added tweaks.
What's New for Each Model?
- 2019 Jeep Compass North: The most basic 4x4 model of this Jeep SUV now includes fuel-saving auto stop/start for its 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine along with 17-inch alloy wheels. This model also includes automatic headlights with cornering fog lights, passive keyless entry, LED ambient cabin lighting and a leather-trimmed steering wheel.
- 2019 Jeep Compass Limited: While the North model only receives a few limited changes this year, the Compass Limited model is anything but what the name suggests. Along with a new High-Altitude Appearance Package, the Limited model now comes standard with 19-inch Satin Gloss Granite wheels, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with signature LED light, LED tail lamps, Satin Gloss Granite grille surrounds, daylight opening and badges and Gloss Black roof and deep-tint glass on the outside. On the inside, this Compass model also includes anodized gunmetal interior finishes and tungsten interior stitching.
- 2019 Jeep Compass Sport: Just like the Jeep Compass Limited, the Sport model comes standard with the Upland special edition that adds wheels, fascia, tow hooks and front skid plate from the Trailhawk model. This Sporty Jeep SUV also includes 17-inch Trailhawk wheels, a Gloss Black grille with black rings, fog lamp bezels and badges, silver anodized interior accents, bright chrome exhaust tip and Trailhawk all-weather mats.
- 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk: While this small Jeep SUV has traded down its 17-inch wheels with tires that grip, low-range gearing, off-road drive modes, underbody shielding, tow hooks and off-road suspension.

Despite being a hard-working Jeep SUV, each new Jeep Compass also features 17 global combinations of fuel-efficient powertrain options that will keep you going further than ever before. In fact, fuel consumption estimates are 10.4/7.3 L/100 km (city/highway) with forward-drive models, including the Compass Sport and North models. Each 4x4 Jeep Compass model is also rated at 10.8/7.8 L/100 km.
