Most of these muscle cars come with a standard 3.6-liter V-6 with sequential MPI that puts out 292 horsepower at 6,350 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm. As you step up, you can also get a 5.7-liter V-8 that produces 370 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 395 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,200 rpm or a 6.4-liter V-8 that gives you 485 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 475 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,200 rpm. If you demand the most power available, you'll love the 6.2-liter HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 engine available on the 2017 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, that kicks out an amazing 707 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 650 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm. All trim levels come with a standard TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and variable valve timing that can help you get up to 7.8 L/100 km highway and 12.4 L/100 km city.* To control all this power, the 2017 Dodge Charger gives drivers a five-link rear suspension as well as available Bilstein high-performance shock absorbers, exclusive Bilstein three-mode adaptive damping suspension, and Best-in-Class AWD technology.
